“Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.” (John 17:24).
Reflection:
In Jesus’ final hours on the earth, He asks His Father to proclaim to the world His glory. Not only of Who He is but mainly because of Who GOD is. His glory is God’s glory. He asks that God allows His glory to be revealed through the sacrifice of His Son, Who will shortly give His life for the lost. He asks that God’s glory be revealed so that everyone will know the incredible nature of the sacrifice to live with hope for a new life.
Prayer:
Lord, may You always be glorified especially in this present times where we’ve seen beyond expression of fallenness and wickedness. We cry out Abba Father, to hold Thy people steadfastly and strengthen our faith ceaselessly . Help me to reveal Your glory in all that I do, so that not only Your glory but the glory of the Father is made known to the world. Amen.
