"He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but He who is seeking the glory of the One who sent Him, He is true, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.

DEVOTIONS

Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you. (Hosea 10:12)

Reflection:
In Hosea’ s day, when Israel succumbed to grave idolatry particularly gone after other gods, he cried out to them that it was time to repent and see the Lord. When I curled up in I thought my deathbed when I contracted Covid so bad, the only taste of life I’ve had was gazing at the ticking clock, thus,I thought was my last breath of infliction but rather a breath to new life. Truly, it is always time to seek Him (especially when now that we are able or at lest not incapacitated), for “today is the day of salvation.” There is no special time when men must come to God, but anytime that a person truly repents and believes. But those who delay and assume they will come tomorrow or later in life risk their eternity.
Prayer:
Let us hear Thy voice today, O Lord, speaking through Thy word, the illumination of Scripture by Thy Spirit. Shed light on the Word, beaming through our cobwebbed hearts and minds that we might understand with Thy wisdom . Let us seek Thee today and not delay or siphoned into the pit of procrastination and sluggardness. For His sake. Amen.
